you can use the recession to your advantage.

All the big companies are cutting costs but
its quite difficult when all the infrastructure
is already in place.

The small company can always be more agile and
more customer focused.
Everyone is still spending money, they are just more
careful where they spend it.
Customer care is really the most important factor
in success, customers will pay more and accept less
if they are treated well.

Those numbers were based on GDP by PPP (purchasing power parity), where India is 4th. Based upon the relative transparency and efficiency of buying goods from anywhere in the world these days, comparing GDP by PPP makes more sense than it used to in the past.
